The use of delicious bookmark
Delicious bookmarking is social web device people can use to store, share and discover web bookmarks. It has been used mostly for academic people. Delicious bookmark is a free and anyone can see and use it through their account. It is a portable way to carry work and that can be accessed anywhere anytime. Delicious is a very useful website as people can share different links with friends easily.
The use of twitter.
Twitter can be used in teaching which is a great way to give advice on each webcasts, reading or aiming for conversational style that will support students. Giving feedback to students and congratulate who do good presentation and group who are having good debates.
Using twitter in department: departments have regular outside speakers and events going on. Twitter is a great way for altering people to details of talks, seminary, guests, guest lectures and parties. Add in tweets of highlights from people who are there and the place to be.
Also, twitter can be used for research projects and can add extra value to almost any research project in several ways. For example, tweet about each new publication, new blog that the project completes. Adding to this, you could send a tweet that links to your research blog and ask your followers for their feedback and comments.
My favorite artwork
Title: Fruit bats
1991
Artist: Lin Onus
Australian 1948 -1996
Media Category: Sculpture
This piece of art was made of fiberglass and clothes line, it was decorated with crosshatches and dots. I was interested in this art peace because the artist used interesting patterns and the way that the bats where made all differently but with the same patterns on there wings. I liked what this sculpture represents it represents how the Aboriginal and European culture lived together.
